Information you choose to share
When you leave a comment, we store your display name, comment, story reference and submission time. Approved comments are public. Contact messages include your name, email address, subject and message, and are visible only to the administrator. Please do not include sensitive personal information. We use these details to moderate discussions and respond to requests, not to send marketing emails.
Essential storage and security
Your browser stores saved stories, reading progress, font size, display preferences and your cookie choice on this device. These are not synced to an account. Admin authentication uses an essential, HttpOnly session cookie expiring after 12 hours. The server uses IP addresses temporarily to limit abusive requests; hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is configured. It loads only after you select “Allow analytics”. When allowed, Google may process page visits, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions such as finishing a story. Advertising features are disabled in our configuration. Google may process information in other countries. Read Google’s privacy policy. You can change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future collection on this site; it does not automatically remove data already processed.
Aggregate page requests
We count story page requests by date, story and broad source (Facebook or other). These counters contain no stored IP addresses, user identifiers or full referrer URLs. They count requests, not unique people, and may include bots or repeat visits.
Advertising
Google AdSense code is installed on public reading pages. If ads are served, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising. Advertising availability depends on Google’s site review and account settings. Our Analytics cookie preference controls Google Analytics only; advertising consent, where required, is managed separately through Google’s certified consent message or another certified consent platform. AI-assisted content
Editors may send story ideas to an AI service to generate drafts. Visitor comments and contact messages are not sent to the story-generation service. AI-assisted stories are labeled.
Retention and your choices
Comments remain until removed by the editor or a valid deletion request. Contact messages remain until the editor deletes them after addressing the request. Backups may retain older records until replaced under the publisher’s backup schedule. You can request access, correction or deletion of information you provided using the contact form. Include enough information to locate your submission; do not send identity documents through the form. Local reading preferences can be removed by clearing this site’s browser storage.
Children and changes
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If a child has submitted personal information, contact us to request removal. We will update this page when our data practices change.
